HALICI Software share their knowledge and experience on the Internet, LAN, WAN, connectivity, object-oriented technology, client/server architecture, relational database, and ODBC and OLE technologies with the leading institutions of the private as well as the public sector, such as the President's Office, Prime Ministry, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and Ministry of Health.

As a result of meticulous R&D studies, HALICI Software produced the first graphic user interface in the early 1990s (EGS Interactive Graphic System) and integrated this into office automation products, thereby proving that high technology software programmes can be produced locally. HALWORD Word Processing, HALCALC Electronic Table Program and HALBASE Database were sold by IBM as a one-package "bundle" with their computer PS/2, which later proved to be the first large-scale software distribution in Turkey. These software programs were named finalists by the international jury of the competition "Software for Europe" at the CeBIT fair in Hannover, Germany.

Continually striving for better educational multimedia technology, HALSOFT have recently completed many successful projects in the field of "Interactive Education and Mental Games Software".

Additionally, in 1995, a contract was made with the Turkish Language Association to produce an electronic monolingual Turkish Dictionary, which is now available online.

HALSOFT educational software programmes have been approved by the Ministry of Education's Education Development Project funded by the World Bank, and are currently being used in schools nationwide. The production of educational and recreational software programmes is being carried out in conjunction with the KOC Group.
